Community

My career incorporates talks at events spanning a wide variety of contexts. These talks range from educational lectures in college and church classrooms with 10-30 attendees to conference presentations with similar numbers of attendees. These talks also include assisting a student to present her own research at an educational symposium. Further examples include regular engagements with my fellow cohort, and representing the students in the graduate program in informal, faculty, and interdepartmental meetings. Also, I am regularly invited to moderate and host entirely non-academic events in the local community.
